Happy Friday, everyone. We learned yesterday that...

Through Friday, Dec. 22, the Youngsville Public Library’s 15th annual “Library-Angel” fundraiser is occurring.

A corresponding “Library-Angel” is placed on the Library-Angel tree for each donation made and specifies if the donation was in honor of or in memory of an individual. Library Angel donors also have the option to determine what their donation(s) will be used towards. For example you can donate towards Kids/Youth programming costs, security system monitoring costs, wish-list books, toner for the copiers and printers, public computer hardware and peripherals, etc. There is also a category called “Library’s choice” that gives the library permission to target the donation towards “higher need” areas. Donation categories/options are located on the Library Angel form can be found via the Library Angel website link through YoungsvilleLibrary.org. Library Angel donors are also mentioned on our website and listed in the Times Observer.

To become a Library Angel just stop by the Youngsville Library during business hours or visit the library’s homepage at YoungsvilleLibrary.org and click on the Library Angel Tree link. From the website print and complete a downloadable form that can be mailed to the library or placed in the library’s secure drop box. All donations received via the library drop-box and by mail will receive a phone call confirmation to let donors know that their donation was received. Those interested can also mail a Library Angel donation (without a form) to: Youngsville Public Library c/o Library Angel Program, 100 Broad St, Youngsville, PA 16371.
