Turkish President Erdogan on Saturday urged all Palestinians to unite against Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza during a meeting with the Hamas chief. As per the Turkish media reports, the talks that took place between the Turkish President and Hamas chief, at the Dolmabahce palace, on the banks of the Bosphorus strait, lasted for about more than two and a half hours. Maldives is going to polls on Sunday, with the elections being termed as President Muizzu’s first major test after he drastically aligned his nation’s foreign policy with China. People’s Majlis, the country’s parliament, is currently dominated by opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP). Addtionally, Iran on Saturday continued downplaying Israel’s strikes, with Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian saying it was not a strike but resembled “toys our children play with, not drones.”
