Kerry Katona shared news her eight-year-old daughter was taken to hospital after collapsing during a family holiday in Turkey.
The former hitmaker, 42, reflected on the scary incident and remembered how she watched DJ’s eyes roll back in her head during her ‘most terrifying moment’.
Travelling to the Mediterranean holiday destination to get her teeth done, the mum-of-five opened up about the health scare and revealed details of what happened next.
She told OK! magazine: ‘On the last day, I was blow-drying our DJ’s hair and she collapsed, with her eyes rolling back. It was the most terrifying thing ever.
‘Ryan picked her up and ran outside with her to get some fresh air, and she just sat there staring at me and throwing up.
‘The hospital said her blood pressure had dropped as she was overheated and hungry.’
Continuing to recount the horrifying moment, the star went on to say her child was so disorientated she thought her mum’s fiancé Ryan was attempting to haul her off the balcony.
The trip seemed to be disaster-ridden as the famous face also fell ill with kidney stones while she was away.
Kerry has children from three former relationships – Molly-Marie, 21, and Lilly-Sue, 20, from her marriage to Brian McFadden, Heidi, 16, and Maxwell, 14, from her second marriage to Mark Croft and Dylan-Jorge – DJ – from her time with the late George Kay.
The ex-pop singer divulged that she wasn’t feeling her best heading out to Turkey and was ‘self conscious’ about her stomach after undergoing corrective surgery on a previous tummy tuck.
Revealing she ‘wasn’t ready’ to debut the results of her new midriff, she was spotted wearing a tummy binder to cover up the healing skin.
She shared with the publication: ‘I still don’t feel ready to show off my body – I’ve been covering up while I’m here in Turkey.
‘I’m still self-conscious and I’m just not 100% confident yet.’
The star chatted about her body confidence in a YouTube video made while on the trip.
In the footage she could be heard saying: ‘I’m trying to hide away with my body because I hate myself right now.
‘I know it’s not good as I should have a body positive mental attitude.’
