Packers great Antonio Freeman thinks ‘anything is possible’ for playmakers in current offense
Freeman, a guest on Monday’s Clubhouse Live, likes how the Packers are trending offensively as they approach the stretch run of the season.
Jordan Love didn’t get a turkey leg last year during the Green Bay Packers‘ Thanksgiving Day win in Detroit.
Packers legend LeRoy Butler made sure that didn’t happen again in 2024.
And to make up for the Thanksgiving travesty from 2023 the Pro Football Hall of Famer righted the wrong and made the chef’s decision to give Love two turkey legs following the Packers’ 30-17 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Thursday.
Butler was shown throughout the NBC broadcast of the Packers’ game against the Dolphins cooking in a kitchen.
After the Packers’ convincing win to improve to 9-3, Butler brought out a platter of turkey legs and sides, including some homemade mac ‘n cheese that he said was an uncle’s recipe.
And with the players of the game – Love, running back Josh Jacobs and linebacker Isaiah McDuffie – Butler provided the players with the feast.
“It’s delicious,” Love said after he raised up the turkey legs to the fans. “It’s very delicious.”
When Love was asked about his desire to get a turkey leg after the snub last year he said: “We were very motivated. We needed a turkey leg this year.”
