During an interview with Women’s Health Magazine, Ekin-Su praised boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti for supporting her during the emotional period.

Ekin-Su, who met on the 2022 series of Love Island and went on to win, said: ‘Davide has been great supporting me emotionally. I was with him when we heard and I just couldn’t comprehend the devastation.

‘I’ve been keeping up with the news since it struck… I hope to visit the affected area with The Red Cross as soon as it’s safe.’

Ekin-Su was born in Islington, London, to Turkish parents Sezer and Zekai and lived in Istanbul while starring on Turkish television shows, before moving back to the UK. Her parents relocated to the UK and she also has a younger brother Arda.

The Turkey-Syria earthquake’s death toll has risen to 11,719 – with officials saying 9,057 people had died in Turkey and 2,662 in Syria – making it the deadliest seismic event in more than a decade.

It is more than the magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Nepal in 2015 which killed more than 8,800 people.

Officials say the death toll could double if the worst fears of experts are realised, which would bring the number of fatalities close to the magnitude nine quake off the coast of Japan that killed nearly 20,000 in 2011.

Elsewhere in her recent interview with Women’s Health Magazine, Ekin-Su discussed why her motivation for working out doesn’t revolve around appearance.

The actress explained: ‘I feel like you need to really understand that [the point of training] is not about looking like a very good-looking woman who’s got a very small waist, big boobs, big bum…It’s not about looking like what’s [in] fashion.’

Ekin-Su went on to explain how she witnessed a fellow contestant purging after eating while competing in the Asia Pacific Pageant in South Korea, aged 17.

She said: ‘I heard someone being sick. I thought someone was probably ill, so I went and was like, ‘Hi!’ and she was like, ‘I’m just doing my routine…I do this before I go on, you should try it’ [Ekin-Su declined – and never has]…I looked at her and I thought, ‘Gosh, she’s absolutely beautiful…But then all she was doing was crying, being sick.

‘It made me realise that…life is about how you feel and what makes you feel good in your soul.’

Ekin-Su looked incredible as she posed in a range of sportswear for the front cover photoshoot.

She put on a very leggy display in a skin-tight white bodysuit while working out, before slipping into a pink version of the outfit.

It comes after Ekin-Su returned for the Dancing on Ice final where recreated her controversial Toxic routine on Sunday.

The reality star slipped back into her sheer catsuit after previously receiving 112 Ofcom complaints for the dance earlier in the season.

The stunner was joined by her pro partner Brendyn Hatfield as well as the other eliminated celebs ahead of Nile Wilson being crowned winner.

Ekin-Su looked sensation as she once again modelled the sultry outfit in the nude mesh ensemble with a dramatically embellished detail.

Accentuating her features with make up and styling he brunette locks straight, she oozed confidence in front of the cameras.

The ensemble was a recreation of the one Britney Spears wore in her Toxic music video – which the reality star was dancing to.

Ahead of the show fans had speculated the beauty would once again show off her skating skill s.

Her original dance saw her crawling across the ice during the performance, an ode to the famous Love Island scene in which she crawled around the villa’s terrace to kiss fellow islander Jay Younger behind partner Davide Sanclimenti’s back.

The sultry routine also saw her lie on her back and be swept up into partner Brendyn’s arms, with a slew of animated facial expressions.

Ekin-Su and Brendyn were marked middle of the leaderboard by the judges, who gave a score of 21.5.

But while they agreed that the star certainly had sex appeal, they were hoping for a little more from the performance.

Many viewers took to social media to brand the routine ‘not appropriate’ for the family show, which airs before the watershed.
